RCVDIST(1m,C) AIX Commands Reference RCVDIST(1m,C) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- rcvdist PURPOSE Sends a copy of incoming messages to additional recipients. DESCRIPTION The rcvdist command is used to forward copies of incoming messages to other users. rcvdist is not designed to be run directly by the user; it is designed to be called by /usr/lib/mh/slocal. The rcvdist command is part of the Message Handling (MH) package. The rcvdist command sends a copy of the incoming message to the specified users. rcvdist uses the format string facility described in mh-format. You can run rcvdist on all incoming messages by specifying the rcvdist command in the .maildelivery file. FLAGS -help Displays help information for the command. -form formfile Uses the form contained in the formfile for the form of the reply. rcvdist treats each line in formfile as a format string. FILES $HOME/.maildelivery The user's local mail delivery instructions. $HOME/.forward The user's default message filter.
