CPU Dip Switch Settings

PowerStacker (REV. D) CPU Dip Switch Settings for 4x
  • Step 1 - Turn the PowerStacker over and orient its position as shown. If the switch is: Up=ON and Down=OFF.
  • Step 2 - Use the Chip Extractor Tool or any small-tipped object to change the dip switches according to the settings shown below.

Default Setting for PowerStacker (REV. D) - 4X "Smart" Write Through
Switches 2 and 6 are up = "ON"
Switches 1,3,4 and 5 are down = "OFF"

1 Option 1 - 4X "Smart" Pass Through
Step 3 - Turn the default switches 2 and 6 "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switch 1 "ON"
1,5 Option 2 - 4X "Smart" Write Back
Step 3 - Turn switches 2 and 6 "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switch 1 and 5 "ON"
2 Option 3 - 4X Pass Through
Step 3 - Turn switch 6 "OFF"
Step 4 - Leave switch 2 "ON"
2,5 Option 4 - 4X Write Back
Step 3 - Turn the default switch 6 "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switch 2 and 5 "ON"

  • Step 1 - Turn the PowerStacker over and orient its position as shown. If the switch is: Up=ON and Down=OFF.
  • Step 2 - Use the Chip Extractor Tool or any small-tipped object to change the dip switches according to the settings shown below.
3,6 Option 1 - 3X Write Through
Step 3 - Turn the default switch 2 "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switch 3 "ON"
3 Option 2 - 3X Pass Through
Step 3 - Turn switches 2 and 6  "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switch 3 "ON"
3,5 Option 3 - 3X Write Back
Step 3 - Turn the switches 2 and 6 "OFF"
Step 4 - Turn switches 3 and 5 "ON"
