This applies to the Raidion Plus/es, Gandiva, and Raidware 4.0 The G181 error message has the following format: (For Raidware 4.0, instead of G181 error it would be H181) http://www.raidionsystems.com/html/g181_error_message_decode.html G181 Unusual State W X Y Z 0 0 0 0 W = Identifier 0 = Selection Time-out During Tagged Abort 1 = Selection Time-out During Untagged Abort 2 = Duplicate Completion of Command (All digits are in hex) X = Channel Y = Drive ID Z = Tag Number Remember that the G181 Unusual State message is generally informational and benign. Please keep track of all Unusual States to assist later debug. There are literally hundreds of possible G181 messages. Identifier 0 & 1 is not supported on RaidionPlus. Depending on your revision, newer Gandiva code will also remove this support. Identifier 2 is a GROSS drive problem, check the drive and its firmware. There should always be 8 digits. You may need to fill in the high most significant zeroes. The least significant two hex digits are internal software codes. These should be reported if seen.
