Ensure that you have a copy LOADER.ZIP. It is available on the ATI BBS, ftp site (ftp.atitech.ca), and on our CompuServe forum (GO ATITECH). 2. Ensure that you have a copy of PKUNZIP.EXE, v1.10 or later. PKUNZIP is available on most BBS and information services, including the ATI BBS and CompuServe. 3. Open a full screen DOS session. 4. Unzip LOADER.ZIP and 32OS2260.ZIP into the same temporary directory on your hard disk, then run the LOADER.EXE utility. For example: MD \ATITEMP PKUNZIP LOADER.ZIP \ATITEMP PKUNZIP 32OS2260.ZIP \ATITEMP CD \ATITEMP LOADER.EXE 5. Follow the screen prompts for installing the OS/2 driver. 6. Once the driver has been installed, you can delete the contents of the temporary directory (DEL \ATITEMP\*.*) and delete the directory itself (RD \ATITEMP). 7. We recommend that you keep a copy of the ZIP files (32OS2260.ZIP and LOADER.ZIP), in case you need to install the driver again. 8. Run DSPINSTL from within an OS/2 window. 9. When the Display Driver Install panel appears, select Primary Display and click OK to bring up a list of choices. You should see an option for ATI mach32. 10. Select 'ATI mach32 (Enhanced 2.6)' from the list and click OK. If a error message pops-up, which says "The installed adapter does not support the selected display driver. Do you wish to continue?" ignore it and click OK. 11. When the source directory panel appears, select 'Change' and enter: C:\MACH_OS2 (if you don't use c: as you boot drive replace it with the appropriate drive letter) Click 'Set' and then 'Install'. After the files are copied, exit the OS/2 window or full screen session. Shut down and restart your system. 12. The PM driver will first come up in 640x480, 256 colors mode.
