Motion Test
This test is to verify that the scale will not 'zero' when the weighing
surface of the 4687 Model 2 is in motion.
1. Verify that the ZERO indicator light is ON and that the remote scale
display reads 0.00 pounds or 0.000 kilograms.
2. Press downward lightly on the weighing surface of the 4687 Model 2
with one hand and at the same time, press and release the ZERO
pushbutton switch on the scale operator's panel.
The ZERO indicator light should turn OFF and the remote scale display
should not display 0.00 pounds or 0.000 kilograms.
3. Remove your hand from the weighing surface of the 4687 Model 2.
Verify that the ZERO indicator light turns ON and that the remote
scale display reads 0.00 pounds or 0.000 kilograms.
;end(Motion Test)
;start(Automatic Zero Setting Test)

2. Remove all weights from the weighing surface on the 4687 Model 2.
Verify that the ZERO indicator light turns ON and that the remote
scale display reads 0.00 pounds.
Note: If all 0.007 pounds of weights are not placed on the weighing
surface of the 4687 Model 2 at the same time the ZERO indicator
light will remain ON and the remote scale display will read
0.00 pounds.
Kilogram (Metric) Verification
1. Place 4 grams of weight, all at one time, near the center of the 4687
Model 2's top surface.
