Installation Guide ------------------ 1. Start Windows 95. 2. Open My Computer, Control Panel, and Display. 3. Click on the Setting tab. 4. Click on the Change Display Type... button. 5. Click on Change... button. 6. Insert the ThinkPad Video Feature Diskette for Windows 95 into the diskette drive. 7. Click on Have disk... and click on OK. 8. Click on Close. 9. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette, Desktop area, and Font size; then click on OK. 10. Click on Close; then click on Close again. 11. Follow the instructions on the screen. Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer to make the display driver change effective. If two display devices are registered in Device Manager, do the following: 1. Start Windows 95. 2. Open My Computer, Control Panel, and System. 3. Click on the Device Manager tab. 4. Click on the + sign for Display adapters. 5. Click on Trident Super VGA, and click on the Remove button. 6. When you are prompted to remove the device, click on OK. 7. When you are prompted to restart Windows 95, select No. 8. Click on the + sign for Other devices. 9. Click on PCI VGA-Compatible Display Adapter and then click on the Properties button. 10. Click on the Driver tab, and click on the Change driver button. 11. In the Select Hardware Type dialog, select Display adapters and click on OK. 12. Insert the ThinkPad Video Features Diskette for Windows 95 into the diskette drive; then click on the Have Disk button and click on OK. 13. Click on OK again. 14. Click on OK to install the driver into the system. 15. When you are prompted to restart, click on Yes; then remove the diskette from the drive and start Windows 95. 16. Open My Computer, Control Panel, and Display. 17. Click on the Setting tab. 18. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette, Desktop area, and Font size; then click on OK. 19.
