Using The PD28 For 28(C)16 EEPROMS
The 28(C)16 in the 32 Pin PLCC package has the same I/O
pinout as the memory devices supported by the PD28 adapter.
The 28(C)16 has a 24 pin DIP equivalent, however. VCC from a
programmer that supports the DIP device would not provide
power to the appropriate PLCC pin with the use of the PD28
adapter as-is. This can be corrected by the use of a jumper
between DIP Pin 28 of the adapter (upper right hand corner)
and DIP Pin 26 (2 pins below). The jumper must be removed
when using devices other than
the 28(C)16.

DEVICE SUPPORT
This
adapter is designed to support 32 pin PLCC devices with
a 28 pin DIP equivalent. Commonest uses would be
27(c)64/128/256/512 EPROMS and FLASH replacement
devices. Consult the programmer manufacturer or contact
EBC Company if in doubt about the use of this adapter
for your application.
